Three Indian nuns in their 30s, who claimed to have been imprisoned as teenagers, have been released from a convent in Santiago de Compstela. One is reported to have escaped and went to the police who freed the others on Monday. They claim that they were held under threats and coercion and are being cared for in a shelter while an investigation gets underway.
