Mijas town hall has drawn up plans for the extension of the Senda Litoral coastal path to cover the 5.3-kilometre stretch between La Cala and Fuengirola. It expects sign-off from the Public Works Ministry and the regional Environment Department within two months, while the €2 million project cost will be included in the town’s 2018 budget if funding by other administrations is not forthcoming.
