A cleaner at Málaga’s airport has been detained on suspicion of stealing two gold bracelets worth €2,400 from a passenger. The jewellery had apparently dropped out of a bag as it passed through an X-ray security check and was later found by the suspect who failed to report it. The owner did not discover the bracelets were missing until her flight had taken off.
