Three people had to be rescued by fire-fighters and the Guardia Civil on Monday, after becoming trapped in a cave near the Serranía de Ronda village of Carratraca. According to 112 emergency services, a group of four got trapped in the cave but one member managed to escape and raise the alarm at around 6.30pm. It took forces until midnight to rescue the other three – who didn’t require medical attention.
