The Diputación de Málaga has put out to tender a €1.5 million project to build a visitor centre and 200-car parking area for the Caminito del Rey cliff-side walkway at El Chorro. The facility, to be located on the road from Ardales to the Caminito, at the intersection with the road leading to El Chorro and Álora, is expected to be complete sometime next spring.
