A British man found guilty last month of killing an Irish holidaymaker in Benalmádena seven years ago has been sentenced to 26 and a half years in jail. The provincial court sentenced Darren O’Flaherty to 17 years for the murder of the tourist, who he shot outside a bar in the town, eight years for the attempted murder of the bar’s manager and 18 months for illegal possession of a weapon.
