A 53-year-old man from Lancashire was arrested in Benidorm on Sunday on suspicion of attempting to murder his partner. She was stabbed in the lower back with a large kitchen knife at their home in Orihuela Costa five days earlier. David Grundy, aged 53 and from Bolton, is believed to have been sleeping in a stolen car to evade police.
