The long-delayed footbridge across the Manilva river, linking Casares and Sabinillas, is finally coming to fruition after the bridge – in two sections measuring 32 metres and 10 metres respectively – was delivered to the site last week. The project had hit a number of snags, at one point having to be re-contracted. In May of this year local residents formed a human chain in the zone to demand its completion.
