The secretary general of the Manos Limpias anti-corruption action group, Miguel Bernad, has claimed that King Juan Carlos, father of King Felipe, offered a €2 million bribe to stop the ongoing court case and drop the charges against his daughter, Princess Cristina, according to a report in El Mundo. The Royal Household has declined to make any comment on the matter.
