Álora town hall has urged residents sign up as bone marrow donors during a drive being held today and tomorrow (November 3 and 4) at the town’s Casa de la Cultura. Donors must be aged 18 to 55, and people who lived in the UK between 1980 and 1996 cannot donate due to a ban related to mad cow disease (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy).
