Police are investigating a possible case of an adolescent in Marbella participating in the online ‘Blue Whale’ suicide challenge, in which people are given 50 tasks to complete, the final one to commit suicide. The girl’s mother reported her suspicion after finding ‘F57’, a symbol of the challenge, scratched on her daughter’s arm. Police have not confirmed the Blue Whale link. The girl and mother have received counselling.
