Former Marbella town planning advisor Juan Antonio Roca must pay Marbella town hall €64,000, and not €10.7 million, in compensation for embezzlement he committed in relation to the development of the town’s water desalination plant. The provincial court corrected the amount after Roca’s lawyers pointed out that the €10.7 million listed in the original sentence was meant to refer to pesetas, not euros.
