The Guardia Civil, in collaboration with Belgian police, have arrested the alleged leader of a criminal gang that ran indoor marijuana growing operations in Belgium. He was detained in Mijas, where he had been living. Once he was picked up, Belgian authorities swooped on the rest of the gang, arresting nine people of several nationalities, shutting down three growing operations and seizing €230,000 in cash and three guns.
