Some 200 people, many of them British, have launched coordinated legal action against failed Icelandic bank Landsbanki, which allegedly sold them ‘toxic’ investment products that lost them large amounts of money, in a scheme involving mortgaging their homes and investing the money in funds. A group of them protested last week outside a Marbella court that was hearing the case of one of their members.
