Tailbacks on the A-7 near Benagalbón built up during Tuesday morning after a lorry on the east-bound carriageway jack-knifed in torrential rain and crashed into the central barrier. The lorry driver was taken to hospital with injuries. The accident also caused delays on the west-bound carriageway with traffic backing up for three kilometres.
