Foreign tourists spent over €5.64 billion in Spain during April, 4.3% more than in the same month last year. The National Statistics Office says Andalucía took 18.1% of the total, behind Cataluña and the Canary Islands. UK visitors alone spent over €1.1 billion, up 14% on April 2015 and the biggest increase of any national group.
