Alhaurín de la Torre’s new Línea Verde phone app, which residents can use to notify the town hall of problems in public zones that need to be fixed – anything from broken street lamps to road potholes to overflowing rubbish containers – has received 1,591 notifications in its first four months. Of these, nearly 60% have already been resolved and over 30% are currently in progress, said the town hall.
