Vandals have torn down and painted over a street sign on a road recently renamed in honour of the founder of the Jewish Community of Torremolinos, David Haim Melul. All of the political parties at the town hall have denounced the act. There has been some recent controversy on social network sites over the town hall’s use of a ‘Happy Hanukkah’ sign in its Christmas festive lighting.
