An earthquake of magnitude 2.4 was felt in Granada at about 10pm last Monday evening. The National Geographic Institute confirmed that the epicentre was beneath Fuente Vaqueros, 20 kilometres north-west of the capital. The earth movement was reported by several users on social media but no reports of damage were received.
