Local police and officers from the Guardia Civil’s Seprona environmental unit rescued seven dogs, and a large turtle, from a home in Ronda’s La Dehesa area last Friday, March 31, after neighbours filed complaints about the smell coming from the property, the barking and the amount of flies in the area last year. Six dead dogs were also found in the home, and the owner now faces charges including animal abandonment.
