A court in Málaga has rejected an appeal and confirmed a sentence of 10 years in prison for an Arenas man convicted of animal abandonment. The case dates from October 2013 when a dog aged between one and three years was found dying in a lane in the town. It was discovered to be severely malnourished, suffering from various diseases and blind.
