A lawyer for the PSOE party in Marbella, Jaime Olcina, who served as an external advisor to the town hall’s Strategic Projects Department in 2015 and 2016, has resigned from the party after newspaper El País reported that he and one of his brothers “hid €1.5 million” in a bank account in Andorra. He said he was stepping down to avoid tarnishing the party’s image, although he denied “having or ever having had” an account in Andorra.
