A new private health centre aiming to attract foreign residents and tourists is set to open in Almuñécar. The Vithas clinic in Edifico Mariote on Paseo de San Cristóbal says its presence will avoid the international community from having to travel elsewhere for treatments. It adds that it has in place agreements with almost all national and international insurance groups.
