Forty-one patients, plus family members in the waiting area, were evacuated from the A&E department at Marbella’s Costa del Sol hospital on Saturday morning after a broken fan belt on an air-conditioning unit caused smoke in the zone. There were no incidents and around an hour later the problem was fixed and everyone brought back in, said Junta de Andalucía officials.
