A 42-year-old Granada woman who was shot accidently by a local police officer in Huétor Vega remains in intensive care after surgery. According to the officer, he was cleaning his regulation firearm at home when it fired, injuring the woman, a friend of his wife, in the abdomen. The officer remains provisionally free while an investigation continues.
