The Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Development has placed a provisional zebra-crossing to provide pedestrian access to Ronda’s new hospital, which is to offer external consultations this month and open in full early next year. Activist group Nuevo Hospital Serranía ¡Ya! have said, on various occasions, that the new facilities lack “adequate, safe” pedestrian access, and had been calling for the construction of an underground pathway.
