A man convicted last month of killing his ex-partner in Torremolinos in 2014 by slitting her throat and inflicting 30 knife wounds (CDSN June 30) has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. The jury found that the man intentionally submitted the victim, a 47-year-old school teacher, to suffering during the brutal attack. The court also ordered a €300,000 in compensation to the victim’s parents and siblings.
