THE political crisis which has continued for several weeks at Nerja’s town hall stepped up a notch last Thursday when opposition councillors walked out of a scheduled town council meeting just as it started. The move was initiated by the Partido Popular and supported by the municipality’s sole Ciudadanos representative.
A posting on the PP’s Facebook page moments later claimed that mayor Rosa Arabal of the PSOE had “ignored” the opposition councillors’ complaints that information on a number of subjects on the agenda was missing.
