HOME sales in Málaga province surged by 11.6% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year and marked their best figures since 2008, at the start of the property crash.
From January to June of this year a total of 13,519 homes were sold in the province, up from 12,109 during the same period of 2015, according to National Statistics Institute (INE) data released last week.
