A PROMOTIONAL bus began a month-long tour of the province of Málaga on Monday to raise public awareness on skin cancer and provide free examinations. The initiative by the provincial government and the Spanish Association Against Cancer is tackling the problem in an area which receives more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year.
The association says skin cancer is most common in adults between 30 and 60 years old, as well as children and adolescents, and recommends adopting a healthy life style including key measures to protect against skin cancer.
