FORMER president of the Valencia region Francisco Camps has been signalled as the instigator of the illegal network to finance Partido Popular (PP) election campaigns. The accusation comes from the main players in the Gürtel corruption network during their trial in Madrid.
Sr Camps has not been included by the state prosecution service in the case they have brought over the alleged activities to fund campaigns in 2007 and 2008.
