PEOPLE travelling from Costa or inland towns to Málaga city for the Semana Santa celebrations may find it more convenient to leave their car at home after the Málaga Transport Consortium last week announced additional services on numerous lines for the holiday week.

In many cases existing routes are being boosted with more and later-night services, while one new line has been created for the first time this year, the M-651 Colmenar-Casabermeja-Málaga Semana Santa route, operating from Palm Sunday (March 20) to Good Friday. It leaves Colmenar at 5.15pm and 6.45pm, stopping in Casabermeja around 15 minutes later, and returns from Málaga’s bus station at 11pm and 1am.
