IT TOOK an hour for an ambulance to arrive at an Alhaurín de la Torre sports centre after an accident during an indoor soccer match, denounced the town hall last week.
Mayor Joaquín Villanova described the incident as “absolutely intolerable” and said the council has been demanding an additional ambulance for the town for 10 years, noting that similar if less severe wait times have been experienced repeatedly.
