The number of tourists visiting La Manga del Mar Menor hotels and apartments fell by 59% in October compared with the same month last year, according to the Socialist party (PSOE) deputy Carmina Fernández.
Sra Fernández said no measures have been taken by the regional government to solve the problems arising from the September floods and the environmental disaster at the Mar Menor.
