After auditors highlighted the shortcomings of Torrevieja’s costly street cleaning and rubbish collection service, a council officer has also provided evidence of deficiencies.
The town’s most-expensive-ever public contract costs taxpayers €2 million a month.
An emergency council meeting will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 13.00 to discuss the deficiencies.
