Orihuela town hall announced on Tuesday that it is reinforcing the beleaguered rubbish collection and street cleaning service for the municipality’s coastal area.
In response to escalating complaints from residents as tourists have added to the waste spilling out onto the streets, an additional 29 workers have been hired for 89 days.
