Murcia residents hit by dengue fever

MURCIA regional health authority revealed on Tuesday that two people – a man and a woman aged over 60 – based in Alhama de Murcia were diagnosed with dengue fever a few weeks ago.

They contracted the condition after being bitten by tiger mosquitoes in Spain – the first time this has happened in the country.
