Helicopter rescue in the Orihuela mountains

A fire service helicopter was used to rescue two climbers after they suffered an accident on a vertical cliff wall in the Sierra de Orihuela on Saturday.

State news agency EFE reported that the locking mechanism on the ropes being used by one of the climbers had failed and he had fallen onto his partner.
