A ‘very special and greatly significant’ collection of fossils has been donated to the Rojales museum of archaeology and palaeontology, announced the town hall.
Consuelo Jiménez de Cisneros, a teacher and granddaughter of geologist and palaeontologist Daniel Jiménez de Cisneros, presented a collection of 33 fossils which had been collected by her grandfather, some of them in Rojales.
