Pilar de la Horadada town hall is asking the regional government to arrange for its residents to be able to receive medical treatment in the neighbouring region of Murcia.
Health councillor Nieves Moreno said they should be able to choose between specialists at Los Arcos del Mar Menor hospital, in San Javier, or Torrevieja.
