Following a meeting with the new councillor for Orihuela Costa, Manuel Mestre of far-right party Vox, members of Cabo Roig and Lomas Residents’ association (AVCRL) took him on a tour of ‘some critical points where action is needed’.
They covered practically the whole coastal area, showing the councillor in-situ the state of roads and signposts, street furniture, cleanliness, bins, the rubbish collection service, trees, lack of disabled access, bad smells from sewage plants, spillages of leachates and overgrown weeds.
