LAST Sunday Glynis from APAC Campello’s APAC animal association was called by some neighbours who had concerns about a dog they thought had been abandoned on a roof top terrace without food or water. They had heard the dog crying, but could not see it, until they climbed on the roof of their house and saw the dog lying motionless.
Glynis and the neighbours approached the house thinking there was no one there, but a Spanish-speaking woman answered the door. She did not want to let them in to see the dog, but when they mentioned calling the Guardia Civil, she broke down crying and agreed to let them in.
