The fire service was called after it was found that an incapacitated person in a high-rise apartment block in Benidorm needed to ‘urgently take medication’.
The local fire brigade, who are experts at gaining entry to flats in ‘skyscrapers’, set up a system of ropes on Tuesday so a firefighter could abseil down to a window and gain entry.
