Altea town hall has launched a ‘participative process to study the impact of properties let out to tourists’.
Town planning councillor Jose Orozco reminded that in January the local authority suspended any new licensing for these rentals for 12 months.
“We have more than 2,200 properties with these characteristics and allowing this to continue would create risks which are pretty obvious,” said the councillor.
