Alicante fire brigade has just released this photo of last night’s firefight as they battle to extinguish the fierce forest fire in the Vall d’Ebo area.
A spokesperson stated that they had been working all night and are ‘continuing’ today.
The provincial brigade praised the courage and perseverance of the firefighters and pilots who are trying to extinguish the blaze.
