Tabarca – the smallest populated island in Spain – will finally get a regular, daily boat service to connect it with the mainland via the port of Santa Pola.
This was announced by the regional ports department on Tuesday after years of campaigning by residents.
During confinement, they have been supplied just once a week by a small boat that brings their orders from the mainland.
