A resident of Benitachell, whose home had been burgled on August 10, called the Guardia Civil 10 days later saying he was in Teulada and had just seen a man wearing a shirt of his that had been reported stolen.
The shirt had been personalised by a Zaragoza football team fan club which the victim belonged to, a Guardia spokesman explained.
