Scientists have given an apocalyptic vision of how climate change could affect the Mediterranean area if action is not taken to halt rising temperatures.
A one-metre rise in the level of the Mediterranean Sea could occur in the next 80 years ‘massively affecting’ the 500 million people who live in coastal areas, according to a study presented in Barcelona.
