THE NORTH coast of Alicante and the interior of the province has been placed on red alert (serious risk) for snow.
This starts at 20.00 this evening (Wednesday) and runs until midnight on Thursday.
AEMET reports that up to 25cm of snow could fall during this period.
The level of alert for the south of Alicante province is orange.
This runs from 20.00 this evening until midday tomorrow – and up to 10cm of snow could fall.
