President of the Valencia region Ximo Puig has ‘opened a channel of dialogue’ with the British Ambassador in Spain, Simon Manley to ‘address the situation which has arisen’ following the UK vote to leave the European Union.
“After speaking with the Ambassador, I want to remind the British people who live here that they have the same rights today as they did before the referendum,” said Sr Puig.
“I would like to send them all of my affection.”
